What is the shelf life of the sauce?
The sauce is canned in Mason jars and unopened they are good for 4-6 months kept in a cool dry place. After opening it should be kept refrigerated and is good for 2-3weeks.
Can sauce be used with other foods?
Absolutely Yes! it is most notable and pairs well with Seafood but it’s also great on chicken, roast beef, fresh fruits & vegetables, rice, boiled eggs, & etc. The possibilities are endless.
How do I prepare the sauce?
After opening jar, stir well then pour desired amount into a microwaveable dish & warm for 2-3 mins or pour into a small pot and heat to a slow boil (5-8mins).
Can I freeze the sauce in the jar?
Yes, prior to opening you can put in the freezer for up to 6 months. After opening keep in refrigerator.
Can leftovers be used?
Yes, any unused sauce after heating can be re-refrigerated after cooling in a separate container from the mason jar for a 24 - 48 hours.
